Martti Kirkko-Jaakkola received his M.Sc. and D.Sc. (Tech.) degrees from Tampere University of Technology, Finland, in 2008 and 2013, respectively.
From 2006 to 2013, he was with the Department of Pervasive Computing, Tampere University of Technology, including research visits to the Technical University of Munich, Munich, Germany, and the European Space Research and Technology Centre, Noordwijk, The Netherlands. He is currently a Research Manager and the leader of the Sensors and Indoor Navigation Research Group at the Finnish Geospatial Research Institute, Kirkkonummi, Finland. His research interests include low-cost precise satellite positioning, microelectromechanical inertial sensors, and global navigation satellite system-based time transfer.
