Christoph Baer received the Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from Ruhr-University Bochum, Bochum, Germany, in 2009 and 2015, respectively. From 2006 to 2015 he has been a RF research engineer within the Krohne group. In 2015 Dr. Baer became postdoctoral researcher at Ruhr-University Bochum. Since 2016, he has been academic counselor with the Institute of Electronic Circuits at Ruhr-University Bochum. His current fields of research concern rf-metrology, radar systems, humanitarian demining sensors, antenna design, and rf-material science.
